![]() ![]() Next I completely deflated the shock, and then slowly started re-inflating the shock. I tested and replicated this with two different shock pumps, the rockshox and a topeak pocket dxg. I could pump up the shock to over 250psi and within 10 - 15min if I put the shock pump back on it it will be to or under 240psi. So today, after cleaning the bike I pulled out the shock pump and found I had lost over 30 psi. I was riding solo but I couldn't have had more than 3' of air (if that) which doesn't seem enough for a 6" travel bike to be bottoming. Yesterday I had it out in Annadel, and coming down lawndale to finish the ride I popped off a feature and heard the shock clank and felt it bottom out. I ended up setting the psi to 250 and visually estimated between 25-30% sag After that I didn't touch the psi and put about 50 mi on the bike across 4-5 rides.įirst few rides felt pretty good, but a little wallowy but nice and plush, the more I road it the more I suspected it needed some attention Since I'm 189 naked, I figure gear and a full camelbak probably adds another 20lbs, so I guessed my RTR weight at 210 (I'll get unlazy and get on a scale in full kit as soon as I'm ready to look like a total dingus). ![]() It came set to "factory recommended" specs of 150psi. I have a Fox Float X Evol on a new Bronson build that's giving me fits. ![]()
